My teaching methodologyThis is your vital step to French B1 Intermediate. If you've mastered the basics at A2 and want to move beyond simple exchanges, this course is for you. You'll gain the autonomy and fluency needed to confidently hold real conversations, share opinions, and handle everyday situations.

 

The intensity of the course comes from consistent work between sessions (a structure proven to boost long-term retention and make your learning highly efficient). This avoids the burnout of less efficient daily intensive classes.

 

Class time is entirely dedicated to active speaking practice with your classmates, allowing you to gain confidence and fluency. To maximize your progress and the value of our live sessions, the essential learning happens between classes. I provide all the content you need, your commitment is to complete this preparation:

• Learn new vocabulary (expanding your communicative range).

• Complete assigned exercises and listening audios (solidifying comprehension).

• Watch my pre-recorded video lectures that explain all new B1 grammar.

 

Completing this preparation consistently is the key to not only absorbing new material but also stepping into class ready to practice, speak, and truly gain confidence, ensuring you not only learn but retain the material long after the course ends.

Originally from France, I moved to Quebec, Canada, 20 years ago. My early career was in IT change management, a field that trained me to navigate human mental blockages and resistance. I realized my true passion was teaching, and I quickly found that this experience was invaluable!

 

As a French teacher and tutor for 15 years in France, Spain, and Canada, I don't just teach grammar, I use my background to help you move past fear and build confidence in speaking.
